dear everyone,

i love all of you, but have very bitter feelings towards those of you that saw Dark Knight this week. i am so jealous! anyway, it has been quite a week of debbie downers. lets see.....

so monday night, we were going to an appointment and we were walking down this long dirt road and heard a dog barking, but we couldnt see anything cuz it was dark, then all the sudden this huge dog came out of nowhere and bit my leg. it hurt like crazy, and ripped the bottom of my pant leg off, and ripped a nice chunk of my leg off. so we went ahead and went to our appointment and when we got there they saw my half pant leg and blood so they got me some water and soap to clean it. we called the mission prez´s wife and she said to go to the hospital, so we went ahead and taught our lesson first, and then went to a hospital, where they reffered us to another one, so we walked across town there, and got it cleaned up and stuff, then they refferred us to yet another place for the next morning, and then one more, where i had to get a shot. and if you know me you know how much i dont love shots. then i had to go back on friday and get another shot, and i will probably have to get 3 more shots next week. all in all its been a pretty unpleasant experience. i took a picture but its really gross so i wont send it.

we taught a lot this week, but no baptisms. so we are teaching these 3 teenage boys right now who are cousins and live together and are all best friends. these are by far my favorite people we have taught so far. they are awesome. when we are over there its just like 5 teenage guy friends hanging out and having fun, except we are teaching them, and they love the messages. they keep their commitments and the gospel is making them so happy. they are all excited to be baptized, and now all the sudden their mom will not let them. we are trying really hard to work with her but she is very hard-hearted. but i hope and pray these boys will be able to be baptized soon because the message we are teaching them is making them so happy and they know the church is true.

someone fed me a bowl of cantaloupe this week and luckilly i didnt throw up, but i definitely wanted to. i felt sick all day from it. but i am glad to hear things sound like they are going pretty well at home. love you all and pray for you. until next week
