hope you enjoy the pictures with me and my animal friends and i had to send a new pic with elizabeth- she is our most awesome recent convert of all time. she is completely involved in everything in the church and has a really strong testimony- she loves everyone in the ward and they all love her. the best part is not just baptizing the person, but seeing their conversion and growth afterwards, enjoying all the blessings of the gospel, like Hercules in his white shirt and tie passing the sacrament every week (and was called deacons quorum pres on sunday) and many others. after talking to elizabeth the past couple weeks it has been interesting, as it always is, to find out what exactly was going on "beind the scenes" while we were teaching her, that the lord was really preparing her and we found her right at the exact moment, and she says her baptism was one of the best days of her entire life, and many other things. we are now trying to teach her younger sister and boyfriend, and if things work out well we could baptize them this week.

things have been crazy, as usual, and really busy around here. we didn't have any baptisms this week, because we were gonna baptize 2 twin boys on saturday (they are part of the big group of friends we are still teaching) but they ended up going out of town a day before, so we will baptize them this week, along with a few others... i think we will have a really good number, at least the most that this area has seen in a really long time. yesterday we had about a million things to do- sunday is always crazy, cuz the way it works around here is that the missionaries basically act as the bishop of the ward (and we have 2 wards) so i was already super stressed and doing a million things at once, when i found out i had to do an emergency baptismal interview in Bayeux, another city. so one of the guys in the ward who is going on his mission soon has a motorcycle and he ran me there asap, and it was super super fun but kinda scary racing through the highways at top speed on the back of his motorcycle... but we made the round trip in about 30 minutes, which would normally take over an hour. don't worry, it all went well and i was back in time teach the gospel principles class and everything else. I´M SO TIRED!

this could, and i think will be, my final week here in tibiri, since transfers are next week (i won't email til wednesday) but i need one big favor.... so i got myself into a mess- i kinda told everyone that i know kelly clarkson, the singer, cuz she is really popular here, and although i was joking, it turned into a big deal and now everyone in the ward is talking about it and they wanna see a picture of me with her. so i need someone to somehow scan a picture of me and her together, and make it look as real as possible. send it to me via email asap, please.

LOVE ELDER SHERWOOD

p.s. we have a conference tomorrow so if any of you were kind enough to write me i will get it tomorrow

1. I forgot how sweaty he said he is all the time, but you can really see it in the pic with the bird. Miserable!

2. Who's gonna do the Kelly Clarkson thing? I don't know how to make them look very real- all I use is Paint!

3. Ummm... did no one tell him about Family Feud? My email to him didn't mention it, but did anyone else's??

I am glad that he had his Angels with him as he was racing on the motorcycle. Some things should not be told to moms. Brad and Kelly, a match made in Photoshop!
