Currais Novos with Elder Alan


loved ones,

tudo bem here in currais, the work has been a little slow and every minute with this companion is torture but we found some great, elect people this week who are prepared for the gospel. so we are planning on a few baptisms for saturday and sunday of this week.

i hope dad had a great birthday, and this week i hope the same for bryan. happy birthday to him on the 17th! i guess i am missing all the parties haha.

we got to meet the mayor of currais novos this week it was pretty cool. it seems like lately i have been having to eat some nasty stuff haha but its all good cuz i have had some really good stuff to. i feel really blessed to be serving here in brazil. some of the best food and people on earth are here. and the church is growing in this area, they are splitting the ward and making a branch out of the small half so we are gonna have to find a way to go to both the ward and the branch.

we are traveling to caícó for a zone meeting tomorrow where i should get all my mail and packages. should be a great day! so for now i will just leave you with a quote for the week:´´heaven´s gates are closed to those who come alone. save thou a soul and save thine own´´
