Neide's Baptism

one more soul in the Lord´s kingdom....

so, things have been pretty good here in Mossoró. the weather is still crazy but things are better with my new son, elder p. silva. i am trying to have a lot of patience with him and really, he is awesome. he is humble and has a desire to serve, so we are working at a steady pace that he is able to learn all he needs to.

so our baptism was the bomb.com this week. take a look at the pictures... notice some familiar faces? yes, theres Thiago, who we baptized 2 moths ago, Nayara, his cousin, who we baptized 2 weeks ago, and now Neide, his mom, who we baptized yesterday, and his cousin, Nayanne, who we will baptize next sunday! we have been teaching this family, cuz the cousins live there, for a while now and one by one they have accapted the gospel... it was a great experience to see Neide baptized yesterday, as we had her own son Thiago do the baptizing. i love everyone in this family. the other night after a lesson there we were all just kinda sitting there talking and laughing for a little bit and looking around the room i felt a real joy, the kind of joy that only comes from knowing i had the blessing and oppurtunity of helping all of them come to know of the Lord´s restored church and now seeing them all faithful and enjoying their testimonies together. we were lucky enough to help them all..... as grandma riggs used to say ´´the whole fam damily´´ hahaha i always think about that and laugh.

we will have a mission conference tomorrow but its not gonna be a super duper one like usual. we are traveling to a city called Caicó thats 4 or 5 hours away and its just gonna be us and one other zone. but still, any time we get our letters its like christmas so it will be good.
uma boa semana pra todos
