6th Area: Natal-Felipe Camarão
10th Companion: Elder Figuereido
well as far as the work goes we are flying. lots of running to and fro all day (gold bond is a wonderful thing) to be able to teach everyone we need to. we had 3 more baptisms yesterday, and now that i am sending the pictures from this week and last week´s baptisms, i will say their names since giving a full background and history would be impossible for all 7 of them. starting with last week´s pic:
--juninho, 12 years
--aparecida, 40 years more or less
--sérgio, 15 years and already has mission plans
--júnior, 11 years
this week:
--thiago, 12 years
--nathália, 10 years, daughter of aparecida
--lucas, 14 years, cousin of sérgio
understood? yeah, its been busy but great. the best part is having each one read the livro de mórmon, pray, and receive their own personal answer that what we are teaching them is true. we currently have 3 families in our group- one is manoel and... i still cant pronounce his wife´s name after 2 weeks, who we will baptize this week, the other is washington and estela, who have testimonies but are wanting to wait to marry, so we are trying to get them to marry sooner than later, and the other is anderson and lucinelbe, who are awesome, but also need to get married, but we have already set up plans with them.
this family of anderson and lucinelbe is really cool, and they have 2 daughters, one is wendy, who we have been teaching and will baptize this week, and the other is 4 years old. anderson is actually a member that was inactive for many years but now that he is returning we have taught his family who are not members but they all have their baptisms marked now, so they have plans to marry in a month or 2. but we have a lot of fun with them and tonight we are gonna go over there and have family home evening with them where we will watch ´´finding faith in christ´´ and after i am gonna teach them how to make french toast- not with maple, but yes, with the special amazing syrup recipe, that so far all my companions have loved. should be fun!
until next week
love elder sherwood
