hello from natal again...
things are really great here in my new area with my new companion. elder figueiredo is probably my best comp yet and the area is really huge and confusing but it is great. we had 4 baptisms this past week, although i forgot my camera to send the pictures today. i will send them next week along with the other baptisms that we have marked for saturday.
being a zone leader is fun and really busy. i actually just got back from traveling for the past 2 days, thats why i didnt email monday or tuesday. every first week of the month, all the ZL´s from the mission go to joão pessoa for a big ´´council´´ meeting with the president. so we woke up sunday night at 2 am, traveled back to J.P. and arrived at one of the most tropical beaches of the north-east, it was beautiful. then we went to this one soccer place and had a big barbecue and other stuff, then went to the place we were staying and changed, and after had family night at pres. fernandes´ house. we slept that night, then early the next morning started the council, and it lasted several hours of discussing the problems/numbers of the mission, how we can improve, each zone leader reporting the statistics and everything from his zone, etc. among many other things. after we went back to the president´s house and had lunch, then back to the mission office to get all the mail and livro de mórmons and materials and other stuff, then made the 4 hour journey back here to Natal (or everyone to their own areas) and getting back late at night, but having to prepare everything for the zone meeting we had early this morning. i am exhausted, but having a lot of fun, and grateful for all the work here, the people to teach, and my comp-- i will actually be his last companion in the mission.
we live with 2 other missionaries, and our house is pretty crammed, but the best part is that we have an ELECTRIC shower head and i am taking warm showers for the first time in a year and a half and it is amazing. good luck to the sherwoods on family feud! haha i am excited... send me a tape when its all said and done!

I was getting a little anxious about the tardy email, I'll know next month not to worry. He sounds soooo happy.
