well... glad to hear you guys got the videos i sent and nobody stole my sd card this time. the shoes haven't gotten here yet but i think this next week they will. i am still enjoying the goods from that last package. oatmeal cream pies are one of the finer things in life.

we were gonna have 4 baptisms this week but 2 of them fell through at the last minute it was really annoying. our investigator felipe was progressing well until the day before his baptism and i think someone got into his head and scared him or something. and our girl beatriz didn't pass her interview so there´s not much we can do about that. but i think if we work with them both this week they can still be baptized this next week. the 2 that we had were Cristiane, who is actually the daughter of manoel and navegantes, and her friend crislaine (picture). it was kinda funny cuz cristiane didn't really want anything to do with us at first but as we were teaching her parents everyday she was always passing through in the room and i think got kinda interested so she started listening a little bit and eventually felt the spirit with us strong enough that we started teaching her and her 2 friends and they received testimonies and now... they are members of the church. (actually not until after their confirmations.)

i will be traveling to joão pessoa this friday for another zone leader council with the president and barely getting back in time on saturday to watch general conference. hopefully i won't be too tired so i will be able to pay good attention. i am excited for conference and the weird feeling that this will be my last one on the mission. i hope we are able to take a lot of investigators cuz its always really cool to be there with them and our recent converts to see and hear the living prophet for the first time.

after some serious reflecting this past week i have decided to change my mind about the first place to eat when i get home. my heart is telling me i must go to TACO BELL. so, the big decision is made.

com muito amor,
elder sherwood

Yea, go Taco Bell for now, but I bet he is just pulling our chain. I think Elder Sherwood looks wonderful, maybe a little bit older, but for sure lit up! Aren't missions wonderful?
