i will be short today... we had an activity with all the missionaries in natal today and we had to go down there and lock up the chapel and everything and it took forever so i hardly have any email time today. i really enjoyed general conference, but unfortunately i missed practically all of both sessions on saturday, since they called us saturday morning and at the last minute we had to go and get a missionary who was to arrive at the bus station and transfer him to another area and it took a long time... i missed the 2 speakers who i always like the most- elder bednar and elder oaks. so i guess i will have a lot of studying to do in next month´s Liahona.

we had one baptism on sunday (the 2 others fell through at the last minute) that we baptized in between the 2 sessions. her name is sarah and it was quite an interesting experience teaching her... when we met her she basically didn't believe in God or want anything to do with religion. but after teaching her the past few weeks it has been an incredible change that through the spirit and livro de mórmon she has literally become converted. (i will send picture next week) i wish i could explain more about it but thats whats frustrating about not having a lot of time- usually i have to leave out like over 90% of the stuff that happens throughout the week but i am trying to at least get most of it down in my journal.

friday i traveled to joão pessoa for the council with the pres and i got the package with the long awaited SHOES. i literally ripped open the box and kissed them and threw my other ones away that instant. i have also been enjoying the many goodies inside and i am dearly grateful for all of it and all of your guys´ love, support, and prayers.
