i don't remember if i ever sent this picture of the baptism of bruna and janaina... they are doing great! (and all the young men in the ward are after them)

well first off i hope everyone has a super thanksgiving this week- us 4 who live in our house here are gonna have a barbeque, we bought all the stuff this morning and obviously today is p-day because of the transfer. i am staying here in Camarão and so is elder israel. this was a really good transfer beacuse a few of my really good friends from the mission were called zone leaders so now we can have a ton of fun together in the meetings and activities and councils and stuff.

finally we baptized Jarlúcia this past week to complete the family of Arnaldo and their kids... it was SO awesome! this is such a special family and i have been so happy to help them get to know the church and gain testimonies and literally see their lives change. they were all confirmed on sunday and it was such a great sight to see them up there together on the stand together receiving the holy ghost-- the stake president was there and he got up and talked about what a beautiful family they are and he could tell they were special. their picture with us on the day of their baptism is now up in their house and they are now preparing to head to the temple in a year to be sealed!!!!!!

we had a couple problems come up with the wedding of washington and estela so it will be delayed a couple weeks, and we have marked it for the 12th of december, which is a little longer than we´d like but thankfully i will at least be here for it.

we actually have one more family that we are preparing to get married and baptized, their names are Inaldo and Salete and i will explain more about them next week when i have more time. but they have a really cool story and i am excited for them. the crazy thing about thanksgiving being tomorrow is that after that its all christmas prep! you know its close when 99.9 KEZ starts playing christmas music 24-7. it truly is the most wonderful time of the year.

QUE TENHAM UM ÓTIMO DIA DE AÇÃO DE GRAÇAS!
love elder sherwood

what a great week.
so happy for the family that are all members now.
brad's the bomb and i'm not surprised he remembers that 99.9 KEZ is already playing the same old, same old, same old, same old christmas music.
