11th Companion: Elder Israel
happy halloween to everyone this week! i want pictures asap. i won't be dressing up this year but i won't miss the excuse to eat more candy than usual.
things have been more challenging for us this week- we had 2 baptisms that fell and several other investigators that didn't end up going to church or keeping any other commitments. the worst part is that my companion elder israel got really sick during the week and we had to stay in and missed out on a lot of work that kinda threw us off schedule for the rest of the week. while he was lying in bed, he got up really quick to go throw up, but didn't make it to the bathroom in time and threw up all over our room, and then continued vomiting for 2-3 minutes straight, and none of it landed in the bathroom or toilet cuz it was dark so he couldn't see. so i had to clean up all of his throw up everywhere and it was one of the most disgusting things i have done. but i felt really bad for him so i wasn't angry or anything. i gave him a blessing that night and the next day he woke up well and we were able to continue as normal.
this week we have a ton of people to work with so we are gonna have to do divisions with members to try and cover more ground, and on top of that i still have to do divisions with other missionaries from our zone, so it is gonna be more difficult to keep track of everything. but the good thing is that this week we are finally taking Washington and Estela (a family we have been teaching forever) to the registration office to mark their wedding date (and baptism soon to follow!) so i am excited for that. the other families are still waiting on their documents.
i have made my absolute final decision on where will be the first place i eat. it is gonna be native new yorker. if i'm not mistaken, tuesday is 25 cents a wing, and i can already taste the honey hot wings with some ranch.
have a great week and halloween.
love elder sherwood

cleaning up vomit and honey hot wings in the same email is not allowed.
i did send drew a list of brad's "final decisions" on where to eat first.
i'm sure it was worth a chuckle.
I'm pretty sure that this will be the only time Brad will have to clean-up someone else's barf. For some reason it is always a girls job :-/ He sounds like he is keeping his Zone on their toes - they are learning from the best.
